(Activity) These are the steps to GO TO THE SOURCE AND KNOW THE TRUTH

  • Observe the situation. What is the thing that happened? Observe.
  • Then, see the same situation from multiple angles, not just yours.
  • Learn not to be influenced by what other people think. Clarifications are important.
  • Enquire for better clarifications.
  • Know the truth.

Go to the original source of books, and their commentaries, and learned one who practices the knowledge.

--> For example, from Media – Take the facts only. Understand what is news and views by analyzing the same piece of news with other channels. “As I think”, and “in my viewpoint …” these phrases mean opinionated points. There is no problem in taking information from a learned one or from a researcher who presents information with facts and scientific arguments. But keep them as information only. Not the conclusion.

--> To clarify this point, let’s take an example of women's safety in public. Media projects women’s safety as a big unresolved issue. There are women who use public transport alone to reach their destinations. They reach safely. But, that is not seen in the news.

When there is an incident that questions women's safety in public, the media projects it throughout a week or even one year. Why can’t they disseminate the news on the measures taken for women's safety in public or the women who traveled in public for a long time like 45 years alone?

Why can’t we share 1 Lakh times the post of women's safety measures or ideas to ensure women's empowerment?

Why do we share only the tragic news for 1 Lakh times, not non-tragic news?

Situations vary, thus the solutions and conclusions. Experience also. Thus, a multi-dimensional view is required by people, not a one-side view.

Note: We should be empowered to think from a multi-dimensional viewpoint, not one-dimensional; if we don’t have a single source.

In conclusion, experience is the ultimate source of truth. Sayings and viewpoints of society may vary according to one’s own experience. Hence, if you do not get any source to trace the origin, go to experiential knowledge.

Analyze your experience in a situation. And learn from it. Ask questions on the situations, experience, and the better performance of the same situation. Here comes the multi-angle approach to the same situation. Apply better solutions for repeated situations. Thus, improvement happens.

Let's have a MULTI-DIMENSIONAL APPROACH THAN ONE-DIMENSIONAL.
